Associate Professor (Director of Academic Studies) (34383-0221)

As part of the Centre’s senior management team you will manage the Centre’s full range of academic activities, including the quality assurance and enhancement of undergraduate, taught postgraduate and research postgraduate programmes. You will be responsible for maintaining the currency and relevance of the programmes within the CLL portfolio and for ensuring that the Centre’s work is underpinned by effective partnerships.

You will have a PhD or equivalent and will have substantial experience of leading and delivering academic activities for adult learners, particularly from a non-traditional background. We are looking for an individual who is adept at networking and building partnerships; who can motivate and engage staff; who has a firm grasp of policy and strategy; and who has a strong eye for detail in respect of the quality of educational programmes. You must have a strong commitment to lifelong learning and to the Centre’s ethos and values.
